We’re lining up a HUGE few days and nights!! We’re going to mix it up throughout to make sure by the time we hit the big day itself we are all feeling like we know a few more peeps, have had some high energy ups and some chill time hangs.

In Cape Town and not sure what to do with your NYE? We’ll be hosting a low key pool party at our place from mid afternoon.
This will be open to anybody looking for a chill way to see in the new year - we will not be going big. You are welcome to stop by for as long as you like and go on elsewhere after if you’re looking to light it up at midnight.
This is not an officially wedding event, more an FYI. Which also means food will be low key buffet style (if you’re able to contribute a dish in any way we’d be grateful) and it’s BYOB!
Bring your swimmers and towels if you fancy a dip / pool game!

Let’s get out there and explore Elgin! Think activities like hiking, mountain biking, quad biking, golf, exploring the beaches etc! More on this to come - we’ll be asking you to book in!
Lakeside hangout
We’ve lined up the garden games, loungers and the pool floats for a lazy afternoon of hanging out around Cherry’s swimming lake
Monochrome mingle at a local vineyard
We’re going to get glammed up for a pre-wedding evening of more sophisticated fun.
This event will end early at 10.30pm so we can all get a good night’s rest before the big day! Shuttles will run to the venue.
3rd January 2027
Wedding Day hike
Join us for a stretch of the legs - don’t worry, we’ll be going at normal people’s pace, not Paul’s - so all welcome! Aiming for it to be 2-3 hours.
12:00pm: Wedding Day brunch
Hellie’s life mission is secretly to make the perfect pancake, so the wedding day needs at least a nod to this. Open to everybody, even those not staying onsite.
Mental preparation!
Take the time to get in the zone - whatever your routine for prepping for a big night is napping, a few lakeside beers or cards in the shade - you do what you need to do.
6:00pm: Sundowner drinks and ceremony
Paul and Hellie have a few nice things they’d like to say to each other after 13.5 years of teaming up.
Wedding dinner and throwing shapes!
We can go as late as we like! However, we’ll start running shuttles for those staying offsite from midnight.
4th January 2027
9:00am - Recovery breakfast
Quite an early one! Open to everybody, even those not staying onsite.
England vs South Africa test cricket @ Newlands Grounds, Cape Town
We’re doing our best to sort out tickets. It’s proving very tricky so no promises... Let us know if you’re in for it via the RSVP form and we’ll do our best. NB/ We’ll arrange luggage storage for the day of the cricket.
